The symptomatology was escalating.  If I didn’t want a repeat of my ER visit (First Act Taking Your Breath-Away) I knew I had to get in to see a doctor ASAP.

Not sure my condition was taken all that seriously until a coughing spasm hit during the exam.  That sure got their attention.  The old prescription pad got a work out.  The doc was prepared to throw everything at me but the kitchen sink.  Whatever ails me should be knocked out with a one-two punch from a a fist full of drugs.  If not, I am in real trouble.

Down in my basement, lined neatly on a shelf are handwritten notebooks chronicling my life. After years of writing, the experience became more of a burden then an important part of my day so I quit writing. Five years later I took up writing again. This time it was in the form of a blog which gave me a place to hang out after I lost my job. From there my blog content morphed into writing about my general contractor experience building our house. As my life experiences grew so did my blog.
