MC Touring – Once In A Blue Moon

Eating out has lost its flavor.   To save time and money, many menu offerings are not made entirely in-house anymore.  Prepared by a corporate kitchen, the eatery either warms up the offering or doctors it up to enhance the flavor.   It is a rarity to order something off the menu and be delightfully surprised.

Now imagine scanning a breakfast menu.  Your eyes are drawn to the French toast stuffed with cream cheese, topped with not one, but four kinds of berries (strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry).  You decide, what the hey, I’ll give it a try.  From the first to the last bite, the sensory hits overload   ….the experience was to die for.

Down in my basement, lined neatly on a shelf are handwritten notebooks chronicling my life. After years of writing, the experience became more of a burden then an important part of my day so I quit writing. Five years later I took up writing again. This time it was in the form of a blog which gave me a place to hang out after I lost my job. From there my blog content morphed into writing about my general contractor experience building our house. As my life experiences grew so did my blog.
