The warm days of spring awaken the black bear, who in turn take a walk about, seeking a food source. An easy mark, our bird feeders.
In our attempt to keep the integrity of our bird feeders intact, we bring them indoors every night for safe keeping.
At this time of year, the birds have migrated north and are also looking for a food source. This spring nature has not been forthcoming in supplying that need, so we have had all manner of bird species checking out our feeders.
The birds get a bit testy in the throws of courtship, as they simultaneously try to stack out a claim around the bird feeders.
